Global Volunteering Cycle
INEX’s Global Volunteering Cycle is an educational volunteer programme that guides volunteers step by step from preparation, project participation to follow-up activities, and enables them to have a comprehensive volunteer experience.
The cycle consists of 4 parts
- Information session for new volunteers
- Selection of projects and application process
- Pre-departure training
- Follow-up meeting
All parts of the cycle are open to everyone who is interested in volunteering and you can participate in any part regardless the order. However, the pre-departure training is compulsory for all INEX’s volunteers going to projects in Africa, Asia or Central and Latin America (without Japan, South Korea, Russia and Turkey) incl. Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, China, Jordan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Marocco, Mongolia, Taiwan, Ukraine.
The pre-departure training is a crucial part of the cycle and enables participants to set their volunteer experience in a bigger picture. It is based on the methods of critical thinking, analysis of North-South relationship, and offers space for realizing one’s own identity.
